Growtopia is a 2D sandbox MMO released in 2013 by the indie studios Robinson Technologies and Hamumu Software and developed by Ubisoft since 2017. All players share one universe: they build their own worlds, grow trees from seeds and splice seeds to get new blocks and items, trade with each other and play parkour and mini-games made by the community. A World Lock claims a world for its owner and also serves as the main trading currency between players. Progress is shared between phones and PC, including the Steam version, and the game is available in English only.

What Gems are for

Gems are the main currency of Growtopia. You get them by breaking blocks and harvesting trees and spend them in the in-game store on item packs, locks, backpack upgrades and seasonal offers. Donattio sells Gems in the same packs as the in-game store, from 250K to 17.5M. Every pack also includes World Locks, and the bigger ones add Growtokens and Megaphones.

The Royal Grow Pass unlocks the royal track of the monthly Grow Pass: an exclusive royal item, daily Gems, faster tree growth and a chance of extra XP. The 1-year subscription token gives a year of daily Gems, special character skin colors, a chance to double XP and a tradable monthly subscriber item.

How to top up Growtopia

• Pick a Gem pack, the Royal Grow Pass or the subscription token.
• Enter your GrowID: the name shown above your character. No password needed.
• Check the details and pay for the order.
• The purchase usually arrives within a few minutes.

What you need to know

• Enter your GrowID exactly, without titles such as "Dr." or "of Legend". A top-up sent to the wrong account because of a typo cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• You need an account with a GrowID: if you still play without one, create it in the game first.
• If the purchase does not show up right away, log in to the game again.
• The order status and operator chat are on the order page.
