Captain Tsubasa: Ace is an officially licensed football game based on Yoichi Takahashi's manga Captain Tsubasa. The global version launched on iOS and Android in December 2023. Story episodes from the anime are retold in 3D animation, and Tsubasa Ozora, Kojiro Hyuga, Genzo Wakabayashi, Taro Misaki and other familiar heroes take the pitch. There are two main modes. In Dream League, the line-up and formation decide 11-a-side matches, while Ace Duel offers fast 5-on-5 real-time matches where you control your own footballer. Later came Super Cup with real-time 11-a-side PvP matches, plus limited-time events. The game has no Russian: the interface comes in English and twelve other languages.

What Golden Balls are spent on

Golden Balls are the premium currency of Captain Tsubasa: Ace. They buy in-game shop offers that help you build and strengthen your team faster. The same footballer can be developed in different ways, and the chosen path shapes his play on the pitch and his set of moves. How to top up Captain Tsubasa: Ace

• Pick a Golden Ball pack.
• Launch the game and on the start screen tap User in the column of buttons on the right: the ID is shown in the first line of the User Center window.
• Paste the ID into the order form. No password, login or server choice is needed.
• Check the ID and pay for the order in a convenient way.

What you need to know

• In the User Center window the ID may be labelled FIVECROSS ID or DeNA ID: enter the number from that line whatever it is called.
• Golden Balls are credited strictly to the ID you enter. If it contains a mistake, the top-up goes to someone else's account, and the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• The balls usually arrive within a few minutes of payment.
• The order status and operator chat are on the order page: if something goes wrong, write to the operator there.
