Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a turn-based mobile JRPG set in the Octopath Traveler universe and a prequel to the original game. Developed by Acquire, it launched in Japan in 2020, and since January 2025 the global version has been run by NetEase. The story takes place on the continent of Orsterra, where a hero entrusted with a divine ring challenges three rulers who seized power through wealth, might and fame: Herminia, Tytos and Auguste. The signature HD-2D visuals blend pixel-art characters with 3D scenery, and the music is by Yasunori Nishiki, the composer of the first game.

Your party holds up to eight travelers: four fight in the front row and four wait in the back, and you can swap them mid-battle. Heroes come in eight classes — warrior, merchant, thief, apothecary, hunter, cleric, scholar and dancer — and towns offer Path Actions with locals, which is how you obtain information and items.

Rubies are the game's premium currency. They are spent on recruiting new travelers and buying offers in the in-game shop. Every pack includes a bonus — from the 16 + 1 pack up to the 1,000 + 50 pack.

• Choose a Ruby pack.
• Enter your User ID: on the main screen tap the Menu button at the bottom, then Other — the ID is shown in the top-right corner. No password needed.
• Check the details and pay in a convenient way.
• Wait for the Rubies to arrive in your account.

What you need to know

• Double-check your User ID: Rubies credited to the wrong account cannot be returned.
• The top-up works for the global version by NetEase, listed in app stores as OCTOPATH TRAVELER: CotC. The Japanese version by Square Enix is not supported.
• The game has no Russian or Ukrainian language; the interface is in English.
